Job summary

We are looking for an experienced nurse with cardiology background to join our successful Heart Failure Nursing Team.The role will be to work within the heart failure team to gain the skills required and develop towards reviewing own case load of patients with Heart Failure, this will include clinic and ward based reviews of patients within any of our sites. The post holder will work closely with the other band 6, band 7 members of the team and the Cardiology Clinical Leads. The post holder will also work closely with our cardiology ward sister and staff as well as linking with diagnostics

The successful candidate will need to meet the following criteria:

  • 1st level registration with NMC
  • Significant experience within cardiology.
  • Possession of a degree or working towards a Nursing or Health related subject
  • Excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work as an integral member of the multidisciplinary team
  • Experience of change management and audit skills
  • Flexible to needs of service
  • Teaching and Assessing Qualification

Main duties of the job
