Job summary

An exciting opportunity lead in the role of Clinical Manager for our crisis pathway, across Acute and Urgent Care Service Line.

The portfolio of services include Psychiatric Liaison across Kingston, St Helier and St Georges Hospital, & Home Treatment Teams across Kingston, Richmond, Sutton, Merton & Wandsworth, as well as The Lotus Assessment Suite (Psychiatric Decision Unit, Health Based Place of Safety). Street Triage Services & Coral Mental Health Crisis Hub (MH Crisis Line, Rapid Assessment Clinic) also sit within the crisis pathway and are currently going through service transformation.

You will be joining a recently established, energised and colaborative leadership team, working within a fast paced, challenging landscape. You will be supported to deliver in this role by 3 x 8a Clinical Service Leads, as well as our HTT ACD and wider senior leadership team. This is an exciting role with a real opportunity to have a great impact supporting the service line and wider Adult Patient Journey (APJ).

You will be an experienced manager within the Trust, ideally with more than 2 years experience at 8A or already working at an 8B level.

You will receive excellent support and supervision from the team.

Main duties of the job

The post combines a crucial requirement for professional leadership and clinical management, jointly accountable to the Head of Service and Head of Nursing for the service line. The post holder will be responsible for delivery of high quality and performance measures across their portfolio of services, whilst ensuring robust and visible leadership to your team.

We are looking for an individual who has a strong track record of delivery, who demonstrates excellent leadership qualities and someone who is inspirational and engaging with staff, external partners and patients. The individual will represent the portfolio of services and lead on these areas in forums such as cluster, service line governance and business meetings and have a key role with external facing partners.
