CAMHS ADHD Specialist Nurse Prescriber

Job summary
We are looking for a Qualified non-medical prescriber to work in our warm and friendly Wandsworth Tier 3 CAMHS service, which now resides within the fresh new Trinity (CAMHS outpatients) and Shaftesbury building (CAMHS staff office) at Springfield hospital.
Clinically, the post holder will manage a highly specialist service for children and young people with ADHD and co-morbid mental health difficulties, contributing to specialist assessment & management and leading on co-ordinating the Nurse-led medication review clinics within the service, including independent non-medical prescribing.
Main duties of the job
We value inclusivity in our service and are actively working in partnership with community organisations (e.g., Wandsworth Community Empowerment Network) to reach young people who find 'traditional' routes of mental health services not accessible to them. We recognise the importance of staff development and career progression and there is Trust wide CPD opportunities available. Wandsworth T3 CAMHS serves a diverse London borough of young people and families present with a variety of complex needs such as low mood, anxiety-based disorders including OCD, trauma, and difficulties with emotional regulation. The post holder will work as part of a busy T3 CAMHS teams in Community CAMHS and will be expected to manage all aspects of the ADHD clinic including waiting list, assessment, and intervention processes. The post holder will be required to contribute to teaching, training and support of team members and will work closely with other members of the ADHD team.

Springfield University Hospital, Tooting
Our largest, 19-ward site is in Springfield Village, created following our £150m investment into two new world class mental health facilities. A 32-acre public park, shops and cafes are coming soon. Close to shops, cafes and Tooting Bec on the Northern Line plus Earlsfield and Tooting rail stations and bus routes.
