Job summary
We are seeking a passionate and committed nurse to join our expanding Perinatal Mental Health Service. We are a multi-disciplinary specialist service comprising of psychiatrists, nurses, occupational therapists, social workers, psychologists, psychotherapists and administrators and provide perinatal mental health care across Wandsworth, Richmond, Kingston, Sutton and Merton.

Main duties of the job
The post-holder will hold a clinical case load providing specialist nursing care to women in the perinatal period experiencing moderate to severe mental health difficulties and also work within the duty role for the service. An ability to assess and manage risk in this context is crucial and you will be required to have good communication skills and an appreciation of systemic dynamics when working with complex families. You will also have a good understanding of working with professional networks, building relationships with other agencies and be able to work autonomously at times.

Our largest, 19-ward site is in Springfield Village, created following our £150m investment into two new world class mental health facilities. A 32-acre public park, shops and cafes are coming soon.
