Substantive contract full time 10 PAs

Salary: £109,725 - £145,478 per annum pro rata + 2% on call supplement + London weighting allowance

Main duties of the job

What You'll Bring to the Team:

  • Clinical Leadership: Lead the charge in both ward-based and community settings.
  • Innovation & Research: We don't just follow best practices--we create them. You'll have the freedom to develop specialist interests, from pioneering research to building vital links with underserved groups, like the homeless community.
  • Education: Share your expertise through our busy, active Education Centre, shaping the next generation of palliative care professionals.

The Essentials:

  • Balance: A sustainable1:8 on-call rota (weeknights and weekends).
  • Qualifications: Full GMC registration with a license to practise. You should be on the Specialist Register for Palliative Medicine (or within 6 months of your CCT).

QUALIFICATION

Essential

  • MRCP/MRCGP/FRCP or equivalent qualification
  • Full GMC registration with license to practise

Desirable

  • Diploma, Masters Degree or other higher degree in Palliative Medicine

TRAINING

Essential

  • Should be on the Specialist Register for Palliative Medicine or within 6 months of attaining CCT / CESR in palliative medicine

RESEARCH, AUDIT AND TEACHING

Essential

  • Evidence of critical thinking and the ability to apply evidence in clinical practice
  • Recognition of the importance of on-going CPD
  • Experience of undergraduate and/or postgraduate teaching
