Job summary
We are looking for a passionate and committed individual to join the theatre team at Homerton as a Band 7 Team Leader.
The successful candidate should have robotic and CEPOD scrub experience and knowledge.
The candidate should be motivated and a team player who is dedicated to the provision of high standards of care, safety and practice within the peri-operative environment.
The successful candidate will be accountable to the Matron and will be leading a team within theatres at Homerton Hospital.
With the addition of our 2nd Da Vinci robot this year and the growth within the team it is an excellent opportunity.
Main duties of the job
- Overall manage of a team, managing sickness, performance etc.
- Ensure the smooth, effective running of theatre lists and the department as a whole.
- Coordinating the theatre departments, working with fellow Band 7 team leaders.
- Stock control in relation to the budget and spend.
- Working with the Multidisciplinary Team to ensure high standards of patient care.
- Managing rota's.

- Evidence of fulfilling CPD
- Leadership or management qualification or training
