Job summary

Highly Specialist Healthy Lifestyle Practitioner - Power Up! Open to Physiotherapists, Dietitians, CAMHS or Public Health practitioners

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Highly Specialist Healthy Lifestyle Practitioner (Band 7) to operationally lead and run the Power Up! The role involves providing MDT intervention to the Tier 2 weight management service for children and young people aged 5-19 years (up to 25 years for those with SEND) referred to the weight management service, Power Up!

Main duties of the job

This is a senior operational role with responsibility for the day-to-day delivery, performance and development of the service, working across two parallel pathways:

  • A digital pathway delivered via a web-based application
  • A non-digital pathway delivered through post, telephone and email

Both pathways include a dedicated SEND offer.

The post holder will work with a high level of autonomy, line manage a Band 3 Administrator and be supported by a clinical lead and service manager. The post holder will act as the operational lead for referrals, onboarding, engagement, outcomes, data quality and reporting. The role also includes monthly drop-in sessions, which the post holder will coordinate and deliver.
