Job summary
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Clinical Fellow in Assisted Conception (Middle Grade) to join the Fertility Unit at Homerton Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust on a fixed-term basis for six months, with the possibility of extension to 12 months subject to successful completion and service requirements.
The post offers comprehensive training and experience in all aspects of fertility care and assisted reproductive technology (ART), including outpatient assessment, ultrasound scanning, assisted conception procedures, fertility preservation, and clinical governance. This role is ideal for clinicians wishing to develop advanced clinical, procedural, and managerial skills in reproductive medicine within a supportive and high-performing unit.
Main duties of the job

Provide middle-grade level clinical care within the Fertility Unit under consultant supervision

Deliver outpatient fertility consultations and paper clinics

Independently run and interpret fertility scan lists following competency sign-off

Participate in assisted conception procedures, including oocyte retrieval and embryo transfer

Coordinate IVF treatments and ensure adherence to Trust, NHS, and HFEA standards

Participate in audit, research, and quality improvement initiatives

Support teaching, supervision, and induction of junior doctors and trainees

Contribute to weekend and out-of-hours services via rota, in line with seven-day service requirements
