Urogynaecology Clinical Nurse Specialist - Band 7
Gynaecology Nursing Team
The Gynaecology nursing team are seeking a dynamic, forward thinking, innovative and highly motivated nurse who is passionate about the consistent delivery of the highest quality of care and standards to our patients within the Gynaecology service.
We are looking for an individual that has a passion for improving the safety of the services that we deliver and has proven clinical evidence to demonstrate their attention to detail using methodologies required to support a nurse led urogynaecology service.
This role will provide leadership for the Gynaecology team to develop the skills, knowledge and experience within governance framework which includes the patient experience agenda within the wider trust.
Working with front line team, the Directorate Management Team and Clinical team, you will be responsible for embedding and championing excellence and governance within urogynaecology.
Main duties of the job
The post-holder will support the Urogynaecology nursing service and will support nurse-led urogynaecology clinics working alongside the lead consultant. You will be a registered nurse with excellent interpersonal skills, an up to date knowledge base and the ability to work independently.We have competent in supporting the following urodynamic studies vaginal pessary management, bladder instillations, bladder training and teaching intermittent self-catheterisation.
Clinics will either be face to face or telephone consultations, within the acute or community setting.
