Project Advisor / Trainer - Oliver McGowan Training Hub

Job summary

The post holder will support the Project Lead to establish the North East London Oliver McGowan Mandatory Training Hub service delivery based at Homerton Healthcare. They will be a Lead Trainer for Oliver McGowan Mandatory Training both delivering training and leading on workstreams within the NEL Oliver McGowan Mandatory Training Hub with the guidance of the Project Lead. The will work to ensure quality and an adequate number of training places are delivered. They will play a key role in ensuring collaboration across North East London to meet the training needs of all NHS services in the system and meet NHSE targets.

Main duties of the job

They will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure workstreams within the hub are set up for success and, in collaboration with the Project lead ensure that the team and experts with lived experience are supported, operationally and pastorally, from recruitment, through delivery and in debrief, collaborating with system and local Trust partners to achieve this. The post holder will have experience delivering education in the NHS, proficiency working with people with learning disabilities and autism and a strong knowledge of the Oliver McGowan Mandatory Training programme.
