Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Patient Pathway Assistant to join ourPatient and Administration contact centre. This is an exciting and challenging role,we are looking for a flexible, friendly, customer service focused and self-motivatedadministrator to join our busy multidisciplinary team.
Applicants should ideally have previous NHS experience working in a fast pacedcontact centre setting , validation of pathways and an excellent understanding ofconfidentiality and data protection.
The post holder will need to have good IT skills and be confident using computersystems and Microsoft Office packages including excel.
Main duties of the job
Some of the main duties are as follows:
Checking patients in and out, booking their follow up appointments, addingthem to the waiting list for surgery or an outpatient procedure, updating theiroutcomes.
Booking OPD and Surgery Appointments along with the validation ofpathways both RTT and NON RTT.
To keep up to date with the relevant developments in administrative systems,processes, and clinical services.
The post holder will also require supporting Access to Health Care RecordsRequest.
