Job summary

An exciting part-time (2 days per week) opportunity to join our Band 6 Dietitian bank staff at Homerton Healthcare . We have an opportunity for a motivated dynamic Dietitian with excellent prioritisation and organisational skills to gain experience in a fast-paced environment with support from our friendly yet innovative and proactive service.

This part time bank band 6 role will be providing oral and enteral nutrition support to surgical patients on acute hospital wards. There may be some cover of other medical wards.

You will have support from the small and friendly adult acute Dietetic team.

Main duties of the job

Assess patients using the Dietetic care process to provide nutrition support pre and post-operatively to general surgical patients.

You will have excellent communication skills to liaise with the MDT on wards including Nurses, Doctors and surgeons as well as wider colleagues in catering.
