Job summary

You will be joining a team that is one of the highest performing Emergency Departments in the UK, that achieves consistently good clinical engagement, patient flow and has an OUTSTANDING rating at CQC.

We are looking for ED Nurse's with significant experience at Band 6 or 7 in the specialty. Evidence of excellent organizational and leadership, as well as a commitment to teaching and facilitating training is essential. You will also need an understanding of recent developments in Emergency Nursing and be able to translate and implement this into quality nursing care.

You will join a forward thinking multi-disciplinary team dedicated to delivering high standards of care in a diverse community. Applicants must enjoy a fast pace acute environment as well as having a keen interest in delivering excellence in holistic care.

Main duties of the job

As a dynamic and forward thinking Emergency Department, rated the first 'Outstanding' Emergency department in England by the CQC, and since rated outstanding for the second time, we are committed to providing excellent leadership to our nursing team.

We currently have a vacancy for a highly experienced Senior Sister/Charge Nurse. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate expert knowledge of emergency nursing and be able to translate this into effective nursing practice. They will need to have proven leadership skills be energetic, hardworking, proactive, as well as committed to their own professional development and that of others.

We are looking for an experienced emergency Nurse with evidence of excellent organisational and leadership skills as well as a commitment to teaching and facilitating training is essential. You will also need a detailed understanding of recent developments in emergency care and be able to translate and implement this into high quality emergency nursing.
