We are looking for a motivated, forward-thinking, dynamic individual to join our team, we are looking for someone who is keen to learn, innovate and push the service forward. You will have excellent people skills and the ability to work with and influence staff at many levels. You will need to have a vision on how to develop and expand the service.
The post holder will be involved in the training and development of rotational pharmacists and Medicines Management Technicians within the team.
The successful applicant will be an experienced clinical pharmacist with substantial experience in providing clinical pharmacy services to our HIV service, who has successfully completed a Diploma in Clinical Pharmacy and is an independent prescriber or working towards this.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will be a key member of the HIV team, delivering high quality medicines optimisation service to patients, whilst developing effective working relationships within the multidisciplinary team.
They will be the lead for the HIV pharmacy department. You will be liaising with the relevant teams including consultants and nurses.The post holder will be involved in the training and development of rotational pharmacists and Medicines Management Technicians within the team.
