This post is based within the Womens Health Centre, EPAU, ACS and Gynaecology at Homerton Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust.
We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic registered nurse with knowledge and experience in the Early pregnancy, abortion care and gynaecology.
You should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with an ability to demonstrate sound clinical skills.
Main duties of the job
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic Gynaecology Nurse Sonographer to join our established, friendly and supportive team. The Women's Health Centre is a dedicated outpatient gynaecology unit.
The unit comprises of a number of gynaecology services including Early Pregnancy, Acute Gynaecology, Abortion Care Services, Colposcopy, Endometriosis Clinics, General Gynaecology and Emergency Gynaecology Services.
We are looking for a committed and experienced Nurse Specialist & Sonographer with clinical ultrasound experience and the relevant skills and clinical knowledge within early pregnancy & gynaecology to work within this nurse led service. The successful candidate will have good communication skills, and will be motivated to provide a high quality service to our patients.
The post holder will work with clinical nurse specialist team working within the unit with regards to the ongoing development of the early pregnancy, emergency & acute gynaecology service with support from the, Sonographer, Lead Consultants for Gynaecology & Early Pregnancy
You should be a forward thinking individual who can work independently in support of the imaging requirements for women's health. You will also possess the necessary leadership/management qualities to enhance the delivery of this service.
The post is currently being offered as full-time. The hours of work will be covered Monday to Friday and an alternate Saturday.
