Job summary

This is an exciting opportunity to work as part of the Organisational Development (OD), Communications and Culture Team to help lead on key elements of the Trust's Strategy and 'Our Homerton People' plan including its on-going development, implementation and evaluation.

This role will support the delivery and implementation of our Health and Wellbeing plans and its objectives by taking a lead on delivery of key objectives and working with the Organisational Development (OD), Communications and Culture Team and wider colleagues to agree a sustainable approach to the wellbeing of staff within the Trust

Major components will include the development, promotion, and evaluation of a suite of internal and external support mechanisms, and the delivery of bespoke wellbeing initiatives for staff at multiple levels.

This is a 4 month assignment to 31st March 2024 with a start date in early December. We would welcome this as a secondment or developmental assignment, provided your manager would be happy to release you for the duration of the opportunity.

Main duties of the job

Develop, deliver and support projects, events and interventions designed to improve staff wellbeing. This will involve leading on large scale projects or collaborating with key colleagues in communications, staff engagement, Equality Diversity and Inclusion (EDI), charities, and across the wider People Division to deliver joint initiatives.

Monitoring and measuring levels of employee wellbeing, identification of areas of concern or unmet need, and evaluation of the effectiveness of the measures taken, are areas where the post holder should make a major contribution.

Lead, plan, organise and co-ordinate events such as staff awards, conferences, health andwellbeing initiatives, and leadership development activities.

Manage any working groups brought together to deliver on health and wellbeing priorities. This will include organising and administering meeting, briefing stakeholders and chairing orfacilitating sessions to large groups.

Act as a point of contact for advice relating to wellbeing, including reward and recognition, issues and provide support to line managers. This includes advice in relation to highly complex and sensitive information.
