Job summary
This post has been created to support and develop the ENT service at Homerton Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust in line with the needs of the department. This will be renewable contract up to 12 months in total. The opportunity to proceed to Substantive Consultant is available, with funding secured. The successful candidate will be working as a consultant in general ENT at Homerton Hospital, in a primarily elective setting, with subspecialty interest in Otology and Balance. Post-CCT Fellowship and or Consultant level experience is desirable.
Main duties of the job
The provisional timetable is equivalent to 10 programmed activities and is made up in the following schedule. The detail may be subject to change. The job plan will be reviewed at an annual job plan review within 6 to 12 months of appointment.
7.5 PAs - Homerton outpatients and theatres (adult +/- paeds mix dependent on Consultant)
1 PA - Clinical admin (DCC)
0.5 PA - Governance; audit, M&M meeting, MDM / network representation, training, research
1 PA - CPD
