We are looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated and experiencedService Administratorto join ourTalk Changesteamwhich is an Improving Access to Psychological Therapies (IAPT) Service.
The Talk Changes service is a well-established department with a commitment to service innovation. You will be joining a service made up of over 100 Clinical/Counselling Psychologists, CBT Therapists and Psychological Wellbeing Practitioners.
This post is located in the community and is based in St Leonard's Hospital although we do offer therapy within other centres within City and Hackney; therefore the post holder may be required to work at additional sites as dictated by the needs of the service.
Main duties of the job
Administrative staff play a key role in the service by ensuring rapid access to appointments for more than 8,000 adults per year as well as information about services. Your job responsibilities will include a variety of day to day administrative tasks which include processing referrals, booking appointments and sending out patient letters etc. You will also be dealing with patients both face to face on reception and over the telephone.
You will have a'can do'approach and be able to deal with patients in a confident manner showing discretion, confidentiality and attention to detail at all times. You should also possess excellent organisational skills and be able to multi-task with ease. You should have a good standard of general education along with an excellent level of computer literacy, with particular proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, database entry and general database use.
