Job summary
A great opportunity has arisen for a first class administrator in the City & Hackney Long COVID Rehab (CoRe) Service.
This is a great job for someone who has experience and enjoys working in a people-facing job. They will be the first point of contact for clients, carers, and health professionals' enquiries. The post will be working in a diverse socio-economic environment and with clients who may be distressed. This person must have strong verbal and written communication that demonstrates clarity, compassion, and sensitivity.
It is also a fantastic position for someone with excellent organisation. The post holder will be responsible for ensuring that all correspondence is completed in a timely fashion. They will need to maintain the integrity of multiple databases and systems including referral and activity data, and staff diaries. The role involves being the central point of contact for many of the service's day to day runnings. There will also be ad-hoc tasks requested by the clinicians and the service lead to support their role. Therefore, the post holder will need to independently manage their workload with initiative, flexibility, and a positive attitude.
They will be joining a supportive multidisciplinary team that is dedicated to providing a high quality service. As the service is still developing, there are many opportunities for the post holder to contribute to service development as well as their own individual learning.
Main duties of the job
- The post holder will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of the City & Hackney CoRe (CoRe) Service waiting lists and systems.
- The post holder will be independently responsible for the database management of CoRe staff sickness, annual leave and other databases.
- The post holder will be responsible for training new staff members on Locomotor databases.
- The post holder will be the first point of contact for the City & Hackney COVID Rehabilitation (CoRe) Service dealing with clients, carers', health professionals and other service user's enquiries, including communicating information of a sensitive nature.
- The post holder will be responsible for ensuring that all correspondence relating to the Service is completed in a timely fashion.
- The post will be working in a challenging socio-economic environment, involving clients who may be highly distressed, and those from culturally diverse backgrounds.
