The Temporary Staffing Team plays a crucial role in ensuring we have the right level of staffing to deliver the outstanding care our service users deserve.
In recognition of this Homerton Healthcare has invested in the growth and development of the service. This includes introducing a brand-new team leader post.
As the Temporary Staffing Team Leader, you will have supervisory responsibility of the Temporary Staffing Team and will support in troubleshooting complex issues relating to the service.
You will work closely with the temporary staffing manager to improve the service and in turn you will be supported with your personal and professional development.

We have a hybrid working in place which means you can work two days a week from home
You may be required to work weekends and attend events offsite
Main duties of the job
The post holder will Support the Temporary Staffing Manager with the provision of all medical and non-medical temporary staffing within the trust; and will help build the reputation of the temporary staffing team as an efficient and high quality service.
Working with Directors, Associate Medical Directors, Department Managers, Deputy Chief Nurses, Lead Nurses/Matrons, Assistant General Managers, Heads of Nursing and People division colleagues to ensure temporary staffing requirements are met.
To assist the Temporary Staffing Manager to ensure all bookings are in line with procedures, policies and governance requirements in order to provide safe, professional, efficient and cost effective temporary staffing services to the trust.
To promote and support the increase of bank only recruitment in order to reduce the trusts reliance on agency and off-framework usage.
