Job summary
The Clinical Support Worker Facilitator plays an important role in providing support, guidance and lived experience to our new Clinical Support Workers undertaking their care certification. The aim of our team, is to create an atmosphere and working environment conducive to learning, developing and enhancing clinical skills as learning does not stop once we are in our roles. The post holder will collaborate with the HCSW educator, the wider education team, Clinical practice educators, ward managers, other specialist roles and many other key staff members to support the provision, training delivery of care certificate. The role will provide clinical support to unregistered practitioners, specifically CSWs, ensuring that care delivery at PAHT is safe, responsive, effective, well led and compassionate.
Main duties of the job
Support HCSW Workforce: Assist new and existing HCSWs in the multi-professional care certificate programme. Ensure completion and assessment of the care certificate within the first 6 months. Collaboration: Work alongside the practice educator for HCSWs. Coordinate with the clinical non-medical education team. Role Modelling: Serve as a positive role model for junior staff members. Care Certificate Delivery: Support the HCSW educator in the certification and coordination of the care certificate during HCSW induction.
