Job summary

The post holder will be part of the Financial Services Team based at Kao Park, with no line management of staff required for this role.

The role has responsibility for control account reconciliations, maintenance of the Finance Freedom of Information (FOI) and Risk Registers, Losses and Special Payments, administration of Trust Salary Sacrifice schemes, system set ups & end dating users, and Purchasing Cards, day to day maintenance of Cash Forecasting reports and Injury Cost Recovery data, along with providing support within the department for any year end tasks.

The post holder will liaise with a range of staff and departments within the Trust and external bodies/agencies as part of their duties.

Main duties of the job

To provide day to day financial accounting services to the Trust. This will include Injury Cost Recovery (ICR), Trust purchase cards scheme, lease car schemes, losses and special payments and balance sheet control account reconciliations.

Responsible for the day to day updating of cash forecasting reports.

Responsible for the day to day management of the Finance freedom of information (FOI) register.

Responsible for the day to day management of the Finance risk register with support of the Senior Financial Accountant.

Lead in the preparation of Trust transparency reports in respect of payments over £25,000 and Board member expenses, for publication on the Trust's website.

Lead in the setting up users and end-dating of users (leavers) on PAHT financial systems

Lead in the monthly reconciliation of the Trust Balance Sheet on a monthly basis

Lead in setting up and deactivating control accounts codes in updating and enhancing the integrity of the Trust financial ledger

Responsible for the maintenance of the approval limits within Trust Financial system and GHX procurement system

Provide support at year end in respect of Annual Report and Accounts work.
