Job summary

Reporting to the Information Manager (PMO), this role is at the heart of the team created to manage the delivery of specific Trust wide projects designed to enable the Trust to achieve key elements of its strategic objectives. You will provide an active role in tracking project delivery by managing progress against tasks/milestones, benefits realisation (financial and non-financial) and governance (e.g. risks and issues).

The post-holder will be responsible for the implementation specific projects in collaboration with the clinical and non-clinical divisions as well as supporting Transformation Business Partners and Programme Managers in delivering multiple projects in line with strategic objectives. A key focus of this role will be helping corporate areas to manage the delivery of their PQP (Patients, Quality & Productivity) improvement programme(s) and helping clinical areas to manage the delivery of their clinical strategies as part of the organisations PAHT2030 strategy.

Main duties of the job

You will:

  • Be responsible for the implementation of specific projects in collaboration with clinical divisions; leadership teams. A key focus will be helping corporate areas to manage the delivery of their PQP (Patients, Quality & Productivity) improvement programme(s) and helping clinical areas to manage the delivery of their clinical strategies as part of the organisations PAHT2030 strategy.
  • Engage with clinical and managerial stakeholders to support, develop, agree, maintain and implement roll out plans, reporting key milestones and escalating slippages and other issues where necessary.
  • Apply the PMO strategy and operating model to projects and programmes, including using of the Trusts PM3 project management system to produce reports, and work with the information managers (PMO) to develop dashboards
  • Take a lead for analysis of specific targets/areas as agreed. E.g. Analyse relevant data and interpret the information to establish delivery milestones, monitor progress and performance and prepare mitigation measures to address delivery problems.
  • Work with members of the clinical divisional leadership teams to investigate the causes of any variance from target/plan and proactively contribute to the implementation of solutions.
  • Ensure timely and accurate information analysis, reporting on agreed areas of portfolio.
