We are about to embark on one of the biggest transformation programmes our Trust has ever seen. Our Electronic Health Record (EHR) will enhance the work of nearly everyone in the Trust, and also the experience of anyone who access our services receives.
We're looking an Test Manager who will support our EHR programme.
Main duties of the job
The purpose of this role is to work in collaboration with the EHR Programme team and Clinical/Operational Leads to ensure successful testing and implementation of the new EHR in line with the requirements of all users and the business needs across The Princess Alexandra Hospital Trust

- The EHR Test Manager will be responsible for the entirety of testing activities within the EHR programme; sharing knowledge and maintaining engagement with colleagues towards achievement within the key results areas
- Responsible for producing an EHR Test Strategy which meets the requirements of the EHR Programme and will define a detailed test plan for the programme which will encapsulate all elements of testing including user acceptance.
- Produce a robust testing delivery plan and resource schedule which covers all workstreams within the EHR programme

- Post Graduate Degree with Qualification/Accreditation in an IT specialism or equivalent relevant technical experience
- Qualified in Testing/Systems Development or equivalent qualification or experience e.g. ISEB etc.

- Additional ITIL Qualifications

- Extensive experience in applying complex specialist technical knowledge across a range of software applications
- Extensive experience preparing and presenting information to technical and non-technical users at all levels
- Extensive testing experience
