Job summary

The Trust seeks to appoint a Consultant Anaesthetist. This is a substantive consultant post .

The new appointee will share the case-load, facilities and trainee grade support with the existing consultants.

In conjunction with the existing consultants, the appointee will lead developments in anaesthetic services within the Trust.

The job description has Royal College approval.

The AAC panel has been set for Wednesday 13th September.

Main duties of the job

This substantive post will be based at Princess Alexandra Hospital in Harlow and will be responsible for providing high quality, responsive Anaesthetic service to The Princess Alexandra Hospital that assumes responsibility for the patients within the catchment area in co-operation with Consultant colleagues in Anaesthetics and other clinical departments. The post requires to support the acute pain relief service in the Trust.
