Job summary
The postholder will be supported by a Lead Research Nurse, a Senior Research Nurse, Research Nurses, as well as Neurology Consultants. The post holder should be competent in performing general physical and neurological examination, and have a reasonable understanding of Parkinson's and Multiple Sclerosis disease, and other neurological conditions. The ability to perform lumbar punctures unsupervised, EDSS and MDS-UPDRS ratings would be highly desirable. The post holder should have knowledge and understanding of ICH-Good Clinical Practice, aware of the importance of adhering to these principles whilst conducting research.
The successful candidate shall be provided with training as appropriate for a particular study but will also need to be well organised, show attention to detail, and function in a dynamic team environment as well as develop strong working relationships with the study investigators, the commercial CRO and the industrial sponsor.

This post is 0.4 WTE, working two days a week onsite with the Neurosciences Research Delivery Team. The two days will likely be fixed, with flexibility appreciated.
