Job Summary

We are thrilled to be recruiting motivated applicants for an exciting bank opportunity as a Childrens Safeguarding Nurse.

A successful Bank CSN Nurse will be an enthusiastic individual, forward thinking, committed to equal opportunities and non-discriminatory practices.

Operational Hours: 9am - 5pm

Working days: Monday - Friday

Expected length of the assignment: 2 Months

Start Date:ASAP

Location:Cross Site

Main duties of the job

  • Be the childs advocate and hear their voice.
  • Carry out all relevant forms of care without direct supervision and is required to demonstrate procedures, supervise unqualified and adaptation staff whilst maintaining a safe working environment.
  • To be flexible in the approach to the clinical area and provide cover for any area specified.

  • Knowledge of quality, standard setting and audit
  • Demonstrable understanding of National and Local health strategies
  • Evidence of experience in safeguarding practice
  • Experience of working within an acute hospital setting with children, young people and their families
  • Wards knowledge and general medicine knowledge
