Job summary

Join our dynamic Neurosciences team as an RTT Validator, where you will play a key role in ensuring the accurate and timely management of elective patient pathways. Using your expert knowledge of 18 week RTT rules and other elective care performance frameworks, you will track and validate patient journeys, update Patient Tracking Lists, and liaise closely with clinical teams to maintain the highest standards of data quality.

  • Updating patient tracking lists (PTL) and reporting back to the Patient Pathway Supervisor and service Business Manager.
  • Contribute to the development of system/report solutions which allow data quality errors to be dealt with as near to the source of input as possible (to avoid delay and unnecessary recovery or amendment of historical data).
  • Educate the multi-disciplinary team, including working in clinical area around RTT guidelines.
  • Use initiative and work without direct supervision, as well as to use relevant information technology to facilitate the performance of tasks.
  • Participate in annual appraisals and performance reviews. Identify personal development needs.
