Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual to be part of our Imaging Team. You will need to have excellent communication and organisational skills and be able to work under pressure. Flexibility and an ability to manage change will be fundamental to your role.
You will work in the respective specialised area of the department, (please see individual job descriptions) working together with the radiographers, nurses and doctors to help deliver a high quality, patient focussed service.
This role requires a flexible approach to working. In helping to deliver our service, this role may involve evening and weekend working within your contracted hours.
The Imaging department at Charing Cross Hospital offers a comprehensive range of procedures over all modalities in both clinical and research fields.
Main duties of the job
- Assist with patient care whilst supporting the professional team.
- Communicate effectively and support the smooth running of the service.
- Maintain a safe working environment.
- Perform clerical duties.
- Stock and equipment maintenance.
- Provides educational support to their junior team members.
