Job summary
We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and adaptable individual with experience in clerical and administration duties.
The post holder will provide a comprehensive and efficient reception and, examinations booking service to patients attending the Imaging Department. They willrespond to and deal with a variety of often complex requests in a timely manner, whether by telephone, fax or in person.The post holder will be expected to work independently and manage and prioritise their workload, liaising closely with the wider administration team in the Department.
The successful post holder would be joining an exceptional team who have shared values and consistently strive to provide high quality patient care. We work collaboratively with other multidisciplinary teams to improve our service, as well as supporting staff to develop their skills and confidence within the department.
Main duties of the job
- Perform administrative tasks according to Trust, Departmental and statutory regulations.
- Provide a high standard of patient care within the Imaging Department.
- To communicate effectively in order to ensure the smooth running of the service.
- To supervise junior staff within the Imaging department.
- To demonstrate a commitment to the Directorate and Trust Objectives.
