Are you a proactive and resourceful healthcare manager with a passion for driving efficiency and improvement? We are seeking an Efficiency Lead to work with our directorate teams, acting as the key point of contact for all matters relating to business efficiency across the Division of Medicine & Integrated Care.
The Business Efficiency Manager leads on this portfolio for the division, working closely with senior operational managers and clinicians in support of all work relating to identifying, developing and delivering improved cost effectiveness across their services. This will incorporate elements of service improvement; operational controls; project management and implementation, including monitoring outputs and delivery. The post holder will use proven methodologies to create structure, stimulate creativity and utilise their experience of managing projects to ensure the effective delivery of programmes of work aimed at improving the efficiency of services. In addition, they will ensure relevant, appropriate and accurate data is made available, analysed and presented to aide senior business decision making.
Main duties of the job
- Lead on the development, delivery, and assurance of the Cost Improvement Programme (CIP) and Equality and Quality Impact Assessment (EQIA) processes for the division.
- Apply and promote robust project management methodologies to support and embed sustainable change.
- Work closely with directorate teams, basing yourself across our three main sites: Charing Cross, Hammersmith and St Mary's Hospitals.
- Act as the primary contact for efficiency initiatives, supporting teams to identify, plan, and deliver service improvements.
- Provide expert guidance and oversight on efficiency projects, ensuring alignment with divisional and Trust priorities.
- Analyse data and present validated information to support decision-making and drive continuous improvement.
- Work closely with finance colleagues to ensure consistent and accurate plans and forecasts.
