Job summary
We're looking for a motivated Band 7 MR Physicist to join our growing team at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust, delivering expert scientific, safety, and research support across acute hospitals, Community Diagnostic Centres and private providers. The post is offered on a fixed-term basis for 12 months, with a start date of November 2025.

Main duties of the job
- Provide MR physics and safety expertise across a varied 1.5T & 3T fleet (Philips, Siemens, GE).
- Collaborate with radiographers, radiologists, clinicians, and industry partners to keep services safe and cutting edge.
- Train the next generation of MRI physicists through the Scientist Training Programme.
- Contribute to clinical service innovation and translational research.
- Develop your own areas of interest, with support for professional growth.

- 1st or 2:1 in an undergraduate honours degree, or an integrated master's degree with a high level of physics
- Relevant MSc or equivalent
- HCPC registration as a Clinical Scientist or ability to achieve within a reasonable timescale

- Successful completion of Scientist Training Programme in Medical Physics, or equivalent

- Experience in application of MR physics in a clinical environment
- Practical experience in MR systems, image acquisition and image processing
- Experience in MR quality assurance
