We offer an exciting opportunity for an experienced Radiology Nurse to take up the Band 6 Junior Sister / Charge Nurse fixed term role within Imaging Department at Hammersmith Hospital.
Our supportive nursing team offers a unique combination of technical and high dependency nursing skills. The team works in conjunction with radiologists, radiographic staff and anaesthetists providing care for complex patients across all imaging modalities including Angio, CT, Ultrasound, MRI, Recovery and Nuclear medicine.
The band 6 sister / charge nurse will play an integral part in leading the team according to our trust values and ensuring the delivery of high quality patient care within this innovative environment. Main duties of the job
General Responsibilities:
- To support the radiology team in providing a comprehensive, high quality, efficient service to our patients.
- Using various methods of communication to colleagues and patients at all levels and ensuring that responses are timely, accurate and appropriate.
- To carry out any reasonable support task as requested by the radiographic team.
- To highlight or raise concerns relating to equipment, patient safety or otherwise to the modality lead or coordinating radiographer.
