Job summary
We are thrilled to be recruiting motivated applicants for an exciting bank opportunity as a Paediatric ICU Nurse at St Marys Hospital!
A successful Bank PICU Nurse will be an enthusiastic individual, forward thinking, committed to equal opportunities and non-discriminatory practices.
They will support a multidisciplinary team of skilled and highly motivated staff who provide high quality care to children with a variety of conditions including medical, surgical, trauma, orthopaedics, plastics and ENT.
St Marys Hospital is a designated childrens and adult major trauma centre with a dedicated 24/7 childrens emergency department and a specialist High Consequences Infectious Diseases service.

Band 7 Emergency Nurse Practitioner

Main duties of the job
- Provide direct quality patient care to high dependency and intensive care level patients.
- Carry out all relevant forms of care without direct supervision and is required to demonstrate procedures, supervise unqualified and adaptation staff whilst maintaining a safe working environment.
- To be flexible in the approach to the clinical area and provide cover for any area specified.
