You'll be at the heart of a service offering the full spectrum of cardiac diagnostic investigations, from routine 3D and strain analysis to specialised procedures such as cardio-oncology echo, LV contrast studies, and structural heart intervention TOE. With a large stress echocardiography program and valve clinics led by Cardiac Scientists, this is your opportunity to push boundaries in the field.

Main duties of the job
1. Performing a range of highly specialised cardiac ultrasound investigations, including adult and child transthoracic, 3D, and contrast echocardiograms.
2. Assisting with transesophageal echocardiograms and performing accurate and reproducible measurements and quantifications.
3. Independently interpreting findings and issuing final clinically diagnostic reports to a highly competent professional standard.
4. Supervising, training, and providing informal teaching to multidisciplinary staff in echocardiography techniques.
