Job summary
We are looking for an HPCP registered, enthusiastic, dedicated and highly skilled Senior Band 7 Radiographer to join the team at Charing Cross Hospital.
Candidates should be skilled in CT contrast studies and ideally MRI or IR and have recent extensive Band 6 experience.As a band 7 radiographer you will rotate across all modalities and be responsible for supporting your managers in ensuring that service users' needs are met through the delivery of high-quality care. Charing Cross Hospital is part of Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust. Main duties of the job
As a band 7 radiographer you are tasked with providing a high standard of clinical work when carrying out radiographic procedures.
You will be responsible for deputising in the modalities that you are working in and providing an expert level of knowledge in a fast paced imaging department.
Your duties in CT will vary from vetting of outpatient requests and managing CT admin tasks, such as organising interventional procedures to ensuring the efficient service of the inpatient and outpatient scanners. Effective communication skills are vital due to the multidisciplinary nature of the work.
You will ensure compliance with our clinical governance framework, you will motivate colleagues, champion service user safety and dignity and drive continuous improvement.
