Main duties of the job

  • MRI scanning of a caseload including Cardiac, abdominal, Gynae, neuro, MSK.
  • Liaison with clinical teams and referrers.
  • Supervision and training of less experienced and rotational staff. Involvement with research scanning.
  • Involvement with administrative/managerial aspects of the department.

  • BSc (Hons) Radiography, DCR (D) Diploma of the College of Radiographers or equivalent
  • HCPC registration

  • Post graduate study

  • Up -to-date knowledge of general imaging techniques.
  • Experience of working unsupervised.
  • Awareness of clinical governance issues in relation to patient care
  • Knowledge of developments within the profession

  • 4 years post -graduation experience.
