Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen within the ENT department at Imperial commencing at the beginning of August 2025. The successful applicant will be expected to have excellent experience within general and subspecialty Otolaryngology Surgery. The successful candidate will be expected to work flexibly and to bring new skills to the department.
The post holder will work as part of the ENT team to provide a high quality ENT service that aims to provide excellent patient care. This includes delivery of out-patient, emergency, day-case and inpatient services independently.
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will join the registrar team delivering specialist ENT care
Key Areas of Responsibility:
The post holder must be medically qualified and maintain GMC registration.
To provide high quality care to all ENT patients
To develop and maintain the competencies required to carry out the duties required of the post.
To ensure prompt attendance at agreed direct clinical care activities.
To ensure patients are involved in decisions about their care and to respond to their views.
To take an active role in managing patient pathways in their respective area.
To undertake administrative duties associated with their patients in line with departmental guidelines.
To support with the training of junior specialist trainees and other junior doctors in the ENT surgery department.
To work collaboratively with all members of the multi-disciplinary team and Imperial College as required.
Adhere to Trust/departmental guidelines on leave including reporting absence.
