We are an NHS Trust of over 16,000 people, providing care for over a million patients from north-west London and beyond every year. We have a rich heritage and an ambitious vision for our Trust's future and its role within the community, driven by our passionate commitment to provide the best possible care for our patients and population. With five hospitals on four sites, as well as a growing number of community and digital services across central and west London, our Trust is a place of immense opportunity if you are looking to develop or start your career in healthcare.

Main duties of the job

The role will require a positive approach to learning and good analytical skills, and the ability to stay calm whilst working in the fast-paced and demanding environment of a large acute hospital trust. The chosen candidate will need to be able to provide comprehensive and proactive assistance to the Chief Operating Officer, including administrative, secretarial and briefing support, and lead on developing briefing packs and presentations. The successful candidate will also need to manage the competing demands on the diary of the Chief Operating Officer.

As we head into the new financial year, and all the opportunities and challenges that it brings, this is an excellent role to contribute towards the ongoing improvement of our Trust's hospitals and services, and to ultimately provide the best possible healthcare to those living in our population. Thank you again for you interest in the post, and I hope to have the opportunity to speak to you about it in more detail soon.
