Main duties of the job

  • To work as a primary care provider in all aspects of midwifery care.
  • To work flexibly with the team to provide service cover for postnatal ward and transitional care.

Essential

  • Registered Midwife (NMC)
  • Educated to degree level in relevant subject area

Desirable

  • FRSH competency implant insertion
  • Evidence of CPD

Experience

Essential

  • >1 year post registration clinical experience working as an RM in the UK
  • Completed preceptorship course if applicable
  • Experience of working in all clinical settings

Desirable

  • Experience in conducting audits.

Skills/knowledge/ abilities

  • Able to demonstrate a working knowledge in standard setting and quality management.
  • Ability to apply research to practice
