Imperial are one of four Acute Trusts in North West London who are working together as an Acute Provider Collaborative to implement a shared suite of clinical and administrative applications. Cerner has already been implemented as the common EPR across the APC. This is exciting an opportunity for you to work with your colleagues at Chelsea & Westminster, London North West and Hillingdon, to deliver the North West London ICS Digital Strategy. The customer base consists of both clinical and non-clinical users with a wide range of applications requirements.
Cerner Operations has three main functions: Cerner Service provides a second level support service, resolving application issues and escalating to appropriate team where necessary. Cerner Data Corrections manages user system corrections for Imperial. Cerner Back Office manages business as usual PAS configuration changes including clinic templates, correspondence and ward locations across the entire domain (Imperial and Chelsea).
Main duties of the job
Support is shared across teams so that no one area of activity is dependent on a single member of staff; however different members of the team will specialise and lead on specific areas of functionality.
The role will be working in the Cerner Service Team, based at Charing Cross Hospital.
You will have the analytical and communication skills associated with the day-to-day administration and management of the Patient Administration System (PAS) and Electronic Paper Record (EPR) applications. Working with users, you will gain an understanding of their needs and issues, arrive at satisfactory resolutions, provide feedback on progress and report on your actions. The documenting of service standards and procedures will be a key requirement of the job.
You will work closely with external agencies and suppliers, developing and fostering good working relationships, managing work to ensure that the service received meets National and Trust standards within timescales and Service Level Agreements.
Interviews for the Senior Cerner Operations Analyst position are to be held at Charing Cross Hospital ICT Department Riverside Wing, Lower ground. Hammersmith
