Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen in the Reproductive Medicine and IVF Department at Hammersmith Hospital. We are looking for an enthusiastic and proactive individual to take on a team leader role within the Wolfson Fertility Center, supporting the operational delivery of clinical services.

The post holder will be responsible for managing the people, processes and performance of the private and self-fund patient hub including planning and prioritisation of the work associated with this team and organises all activities in order to achieve productive and high-quality service and would also manage and supervise the administrative team

In addition, the post holder will contribute towards Wolfson IVF business development and marketing strategies, to support the service senior managers by advising on strategy, policy and future direction of the service, ensuring effective feedback and translation into service delivery.

The post holder will provide cross-site support ensuring co-operation within and amongst teams. This also includes deputising for the Business Manager as and when required, and providing management cover within the unit.

The post holder will implement patient centred operational strategy and plans, ensuring that systems and processes comply with relevant legislation and governance requirement including linking with external bodies when required utilising the expertise and skills of the wider divisional team.

The role is to support the Business Manager in the delivery of a high-quality service, ensuring that day to day services is managed in accordance with agreed objectives, targets, quality standards, controls and resource constraints. The post holder will be required to line manage a team.

  • Postgraduate diploma or equivalent level of experience of working at a similar level in specialist area.
