Main duties of the job
Efficiency of the Pre-Operative Assessment (POA) pathway (e.g. minimisation of on the day cancellation in theatre)
Excellent nursing care and health promotion
Liaison with secondary and primary care
Well-led and supported team
Effective controls in the maintenance of budget
Implementation of nursing strategy and supporting the Trust/Division Objectives(implementation of new safety flows)
Enhance patients experience by ensuring follow up calls are made for all elective surgical discharges within the pathway time frame agreement
Seeks continuous stakeholder input in order to identify growth opportunities and developments
