Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Test Lead to join a growing ICT Test Team to ensure all testing activities are effectively managed and tested according to the defined test strategy and approach prior to release into the live environment.

The ICT Test Team plays a pivotal role in ensuring that all changes and implementations are rigorously tested to identify and eliminate any software issues thereby reducing the clinical safety risk. This is a very busy team involved in multiple projects, changes or issue fixes and so you will need to be proactive, enjoy challenges and can handle pressure.

You should have previous experience of working within the NHS leading testers and managing multiple healthcare testing activities. Strong stakeholder and communication skills are essential to succeed in this role.

Main duties of the job

The role will involve managing sub teams of testers alongside creating test plans, developing test scripts, test metrics and test reports for various clinical systems. Ability to work independently under high pressure and commitment to continuously deliver to tight deadlines is required.

You will have strong knowledge of various modules of Oracle Cerner EPR application. You will also have good demonstrable knowledge of software testing methodologies and should be an ISTQB certified tester or have equivalent testing experience. Knowledge of HL7 is highly desirable.

Though primarily based at Paddington, you will be expected to cover and travel between all the NWL ICS sites depending on the need.
