Job summary

We are looking for an administrator to support the implementation of our Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) strategy.Who are we? We are the People and Organisational Development Directorate, working to help the Trust fulfill its public sector duty to promote workforce equality, while enhancing both patient and staff experiences and improving the quality of care.The ideal candidate will be able to work efficiently under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills. You will take a proactive approach to working collaboratively with other departments and staff networks. In addition, you will assist with delivering EDI training and creating communications to share across the Trust. Confidence in managing details, taking precise minutes, updating project plans, and using online platforms such as MS Teams will be essential. You will also produce high-quality administrative documents with attention to detail, using Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.Interviews will be held in person in mid-February 2025.

Main duties of the job

The EDI Team is dedicated to creating an inclusive environment where everyone feels empowered to bring their whole self to work. This role will play a key part in supporting this vision by providing high-level administrative assistance to the team in delivering the EDI workplan. You will also contribute to the coordination of staff networks and help promote and manage events across the Trust.Key responsibilities will include supporting the EDI committee and various subgroups, assisting with staff network activities throughout the Trust, maintaining the EDI intranet, and handling the administration of EDI-related events.
