Job summary
Are you great with people, very organised, and passionate about patient care? Our Radiotherapy Service is looking for a motivated friendly and confident individual with experience of working within a very busy and fast-pace patient facing environment to come and join our team.
We are currently looking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated Radiotherapy Administrator to join our radiotherapy team to provide full administrative support and assist in the day to day running of the unit, including managing a busy outpatient reception, processing radiotherapy referrals and scheduling new and follow up patient appointments. The post holder will be expected to organise and prioritise their own workload and to work closely with clinical colleagues in order to ensure the continuity of service for our patients at all times.
This is a great opportunity for an excellent administrator to develop and learn within a complex, fast-paced environment. You will have excellent team working, interpersonal and communication skills with the vision and enthusiasm to continually develop both yourself and the service. Main duties of the job
- Provide a comprehensive and quality administration service to the Radiotherapy department and manage and prioritise their workload liaising closely with the other administration staff and management in the department
- Provide administrative support to the wider multidisciplinary team, including consultants
