You'll advocate for service and business improvement, ensuring that technology design aligns with operational models and supports innovative ways of working.
Your expertise will guide the integration of digital solutions into commissioning, post-occupancy evaluations, and ongoing support. Representing IT at key boards, you will ensure seamless alignment with the Trust's broader IT strategy.

Main duties of the job
As Redevelopment Digital Manager, you will lead the Trust's Digital Strategy for the Redevelopment Programme, ensuring our new buildings are digitally enabled and seamlessly integrated with the IT strategy. You will collaborate with the ICT Team to define design principles and ensure digital solutions improve staff workflows, patient experiences, and operational efficiency.
Your role involves working with the Healthcare Planning Team to transform clinical pathways and ways of working, leveraging opportunities provided by new hospital designs. You will develop enterprise architecture that aligns with the IM&T strategy, supports strategic goals, and reflects best practices from horizon scanning of global innovations.
You will manage plans to maintain IT services in residual buildings during reconfiguration and engage vendors and partners to ensure robust digital solutions are embedded in design, construction, commissioning, and post-occupancy evaluations.
Representing IT on Programme and Project Boards, you will ensure full integration with the wider IT agenda, identifying and managing risks, issues, and actions, and maintaining transparent reporting. You will also oversee the digital aspects of building systems and ensure compliance, efficiency, and alignment with target operating models, driving service improvement through innovative digital transformation.
