Job summary

As the Patient Data Access Co-ordinator you will be responsible for providing a comprehensive and efficient patient data access service for the Imaging department, ensuring that applications and queries are dealt with in an efficient an manner and in accordance with the GDPR and local guidelines.

You will also be responsible for maintaining and monitoring the departmental spreadsheets and ensuring quality and customer care standards are met.

You will need to have excellent communication skills and be able to liaise with patients and Solicitors as well as internal departments such as Health Records, PALS and the Legal team

You will be required to have a knowledge of Microsoft packages including Outlook and Excel.

Main duties of the job

  • To provide a comprehensive and efficient patient data access for the ImagingDepartment.
  • Ensuring all requests are dealt with in an efficient and timely manner in accordance withthe GDPR and local guidelines
  • Ensuring all requests meet the requirements with the correct consent and information
  • Establishing, maintaining and monitoring departmental databases and spreadsheets
  • Ensuring quality and customer care standards are met where relevant
  • Contribute to a positive patient experience
