An exciting opportunity has become available to join Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust's new Digital Patient Pathway Management programme and play a pivotal role in the design, implementation and optimization of cutting-edge digital solutions that will enhance patient outcomes, streamline processes, and improve patient experience and outcomes. The team will collaborate with clinical and operational teams towards streamlining and digital optimisation of processes, improving patient outcomes, enhance efficiency, and transform patient experience.

We are looking for a talented, highly motivated Data Warehouse Manager to manage Digital Patient Pathway Management projects, developers and database administrators within the Data Warehouse team developing systems in on premises systems or in the cloud.

There will be a particular emphasis in this role on developing information systems within a Microsoft SQL Server development environment and/or an Apache Spark big data processing environment creating algorithms and pipelines to ingest and transform data into information systems and solutions capable of answering clinical and operational use case requirements particularly with respect to digital patient pathway management. The role will involve close engagement with clinical/nursing teams and the candidate is expected to have experience extracting data and creating reports from clinical systems.

Main duties of the job

To be part of a team providing complete, accurate and timely Business Intelligence to support performance, research and education.

The Data Warehouse Manager provides management of and direction for the maintenance and development of this important Trust asset. The role provides specialist advice where required and oversees internal and external technical resources. S/he will be responsible for providing a service that supports reporting and analytics to internal customers and mandatory reports to external stakeholders. Working collaboratively with stakeholders, the role supports the Deputy Head of Business Intelligence to prioritise areas for development. The Data Warehouse Manager reports directly to the Deputy Head of Business Intelligence and deputises in his/her absence.

The post holder will be responsible for the managing data warehouse team members and leading projects including those related to digital optimisation of patient pathway management.
