Job summary
We are looking for a Band 7 dietitian to join our Critical Care team at Imperial. The post holder will require strong artifical nutrition support skills and knowledge with experience of managing parenteral nutrition and complex enteral tube feeding. Experience of working in a Level 3 Critical Care is essential.
We are a large, high profile, friendly department involved in undergraduate and post graduate training. We also facilitate placement 1, 2 & 3's for dietetic students and are involved in teaching other health professionals such as nursing and therapy colleagues. The department is forward thinking and our service delivery is very much influenced by the audits and research projects we carry out which are supported by excellent IT facilities and Quality Improvement initiatives. The department also supports robust CPD for all staff members.
Main duties of the job
To provide an effective highly specialist dietetic service to the critical care service at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust. To work in conjunction with the multi-disciplinary team and the clinical service lead dietitian in the development, delivery and evaluation of the post. The individual must demonstrate in-depth knowledge and act as an expert within the specialist area.
